I've been to Zio's many times and the place has accomplished all the owner/chef wanted to accomplish. Great and creative dishes for a more than fair price, opened an eating establishment in North Park that was very much needed, and make it casual and friendly so anyone would be comfortable coming there. All you idiots that complain on YELP...no table cloths, no china, in a sketchy area, plastic plants, (they are silk), don't like the pizza, pasta under cooked, food to bland. You folks have never been to Italy because pasta shouldn't be over cooked and Italians do prepare their food fesh but not real garlicy or spicey. It's the Americans that have changed all that. So Zio's can't please you people so go somewhere else, find your table cloths and fancy plants and dishes and then at the end of a mediocre meal dig deep in to those pockets for a credit card so you can pay for a $70 plus bill for two.

I wish Zio's all the best and I will return and try one of the specials next time. Good job Zio's!

I went in there for the first time, and ohh my. I was amazed. The food was made fresh, and I was respected by all the employees. I will go there again.

Keep up the great restaurant.
